The Koch Brothers and Dick Armey have organizations that bus people into other states for “grass-roots” protests, and Exxon pays scientists to deny global warming. Is there any denying that American Conservatism is little more than a defense of our class system and the American Aristocracy?
I posted about this some time ago after some readers at the Daily Kos alerted everyone. By the way, didn’t Glenn Greenwald also say something about out military doing something similar to this? How 1 guy could control 50 different Internet personas?

The US government’s plan to use technology to create and manage fake identities for social interaction with terrorists is as appalling as it is amusing. It’s appalling that in this era of greater transparency and accountability brought on by the internet, the US of all countries would try to systematise sock puppetry. It’s appallingly stupid, for there’s little doubt that the fakes will be unmasked. The net result of that will be the diminution, not the enhancement, of American credibility.
